14 Weeks: I'm definitely ready to get some energy back. Any day now....

How far along? 14 weeks

How big are Frick and Frack? According to the internet, The size of a lemon. According to ultrasound today, right on track! They measured heads and bellies today too and everyone looks great! We even got a few guesses on gender. I believe baby A's guess but I'll believe baby B's when we confirm at our next appointment.
Frick and Frack's Health? We are still looking good. I have a bleed in my uterus but it's stopped for now. It doesn't seem to be worrying the doctor two much.
Health of Momma? I could really use an energy boost. I just don't want to do anything. I have all I can do to get off the couch. My nausea is better though, still not great at night, but better the rest of the day as long as I eat.
Weight gain? 3lbs still.
Weird Cravings? Yogurt! I've been eating tons of it.
Stretch Marks? Still nothing right now.
Skin? Still good! Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Hair? Greasy still. But not too hard to manage since it's short.
Sleep? Unisome is saving my life!
Best moment this week? We bought Audrey's toddler bed! I can't wait to start rearranging stuff in the kid's room. I'm excited to see it all start coming together.

What I miss? My energy. There's so much stuff I want to be working on!
What I am looking forward to? Our gender reveal party!
Weekly wisdom? Patience. I need patience.
Milestones? Nothing new this week.
Fears? Putting Audrey in a toddler bed. I hope the transition doesn't set us back in the sleep department.

Thing I'm thankful for? My amazing Husband. He really has been picking up my slack. I hope I don't burn him out too quickly...

Week End Review:  New Car seat for the twins, new stroller for everyone, new toddler bed for Audrey. Changes are a happening around here!

13 Weeks: Holy Moly! That's a Big Belly

How far along? 13 weeks

How big are Frick and Frack? According to the internet, The size of a pea pod. According to our last ultrasound, right on track!
Frick and Frack's Health? Everyone's just trucking along. We just got the results back from our MaterniT21 test and it looks like we don't have any extra chromosomes on board this time around. It was kinda weird. I felt like I should have been relieved when the results came back negative but honestly I wasn't. It was like I already knew? Or didn't care? Logically, I care. But mostly because of finances. Every family's resources are finite. Do we really have the resources to give two or three children with unique needs everything they need? But in my heart, I just don't care. Weird.
Health of Momma? Oooh budy! This growing twins business is no joke! It really is twice as hard. I'm twice as tired, twice as nauseous and twice as large. I'm always physically tired.
Weight gain? 3lbs - after I lost eight...I'm not surprised or alarmed though. I lost weigh during my first trimester with Audrey.
Weird Cravings? Icees! Cherry or cherry and coke mixed. It helps settle my stomach and some days it's the only thing I can get down.
Stretch Marks? Not yet, but judging by how large I already am I won't get as lucky in this area as I did the first time around.
Skin? Not bad yet. Terrible skin seems to be the only pregnancy symptom so far that hasn't repeated itself times two. That and the headaches. None of those yet. Keep your fingers crossed people!

Hair? Definitely greasier but I also just cut it all off too so I'm not sure if that's part of the reason.
Sleep? It's not great but I'm not complaining yet. I've been taking unisome at night to help with my nausea and that has helped me fall asleep. Also, I'm not waking up in the middle of the night yet to pee which is really nice. So right now I'm just counting my blessings.
Best moment this week? Nailing down a date and location for our Gender Reveal Party! Oh, and talking J into having one.
What I miss? Not too much yet. Audrey and I went to Sacramento with my Mom and Noah and I would have killed for a glass of wine after a few of those long days but all in all I don't have to go without much yet.
What I am looking forward to? Confirming the gender of Frick and Frack! We have some idea from the MaterniT21 test but with twins it really needs to be confirmed with ultrasound.
Weekly wisdom? This is going to get harder sooner than I thought it was. I already struggle to pick up Audrey. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to get through the next 25wks. Also, I learned that with the type of twins we are having (di/di) my doctors wont let me go past 38wks. So I have a definite end date.
Milestones?  The first trimester is over!!
Fears? Mostly everything about carrying these two babies. Premature birth, bed rest, prenatal hypertension. ALL OF IT.

Thing I'm thankful for?  Modern technology. I am so grateful to live in a time when I can see my babies every two weeks and make sure everyone is doing well!

Week End Review:  It was a good week! Audrey and I had a ton of fun in Sacramento. She did really well watching all the plays at the Junior Theatre Festival and was pretty good on the plane too. And being a pregnant lady with 24 hour room service wasn't too shabby either!
Just For Fun: A side by side of my belly now and my belly at 22wks with Audrey....I'm in trouble people.
