Audrey is cruising these days! Pulling up on everything including walls. Cruising along the couch, across the entertainment center and around the coffee tables. Her therapist are all sure she's going to walk soon. I'm shooting for the end of the summer.
She's decided she'll sign now, but only for her Dad. So that's super annoying. I'm pretty sure she;s trying to say words. It's hard to tell because she refuses to mimic. Do you know how hard it is to teach someone who refuses to do what you do? It's fucking impossible. It's like she's holding on out on me! She also refuses to do her flash cards. The ones she been doing for months now. She'll still engage with the new ones, but it's like she doesn't have time for the old ones. It's the same with Signing Times. The first one, the one we've been watching forever? She's over it. I turn it on and she finds something else to do. Not that she's actually doing any of those signs, but apparently she's too cool for school. LITERALLY. Put it the second one? All of sudden she's into it again. Long story short, I feel like she's picking up on more that she's letting on.
MB's doing well. He's finishing up swim team and starting basketball. He's pretty excited. We even got his basketball hoop installed just in time! J and him "shot hoops" today for a few hours. MB was pretty stoked.
J and I are gearing up for our trip to Meh-he-co! Read: Larri's doing some shopping. Now I need to figure out how to get some color on my skin so I don't fry! I can't even wrap my brain around getting into a tanning bed but I'm struggling to think of another way. Maybe I'll just show up in Mexico with a crap ton of sunscreen and hope for the best!
